Message from Jill Perkins

This website was originally a reflection of my last year in teaching. It showcased a history of our class from the first day of school in August of 2003, until my retirement in June of 2004.

I send a big "Thank You" those who have given donations to our site. You helped us to continue the website.

Let's play catch.

The children enjoyed sharing their art work, activities, projects, field trips, and other adventures over the past five years. As you explored our site, I hope you were encouraged by their work.

Our special tree.

We decided to close this website in early 2007, but due to the popularity of the Dolch Sight Words, and Classroom Forms and Testing sections, we allowed our friend, Nick Ramsay, to host and maintain those parts of the site.

We hope they will continue to benefit people for years to come.

Message from Nick Ramsay

Until the middle of 2008, I left MrsPerkins.com with the remaining pages in their former glory. Eventually, since it was so popular for Dolch words, I decided to combine it with my own Dolch website, making Mrs. Perkins' Dolch Words.

In its current form, I hope to expand MrsPerkins.com with a lot more Dolch activities and resources. However, as a little thank you to Jill and her first grade, I've uploaded a full size image of the original front page and the Awards it won.
